It has been a bit quiet on the site - but it is as things go - sometimes life takes over. I accepted a new job and I am running around like a headless chook (but not a clueless one!) to get things done. That meant that I have a tad less time to spend on VSD - but it certainly does not mean I am not around - as those that post comments may have noticed.
We are very happy with all the feedback that is received on the tutorials and we also see that the site is slowly gaining a group of enthousiastic Inkscape users. Did I mention that the Spiro Swirls tutorial has received over 32,000 visits sofar?
I have been working on a few tutorials - and some are almost ready for publishing. The first one that I'll publish is another tutorial in the Abstract Wallpaper series and it makes use of one of the most powerful Inkscape extensions to create abstract line art. The preview image is shown on the left, and you can click on it to see it in a larger format. The tutorial will be up in a day or two - so please check back.
In the mean time if you have comments, questions and/or suggestions - please feel free to add comments to our articles, use the contact form or sign up to the forums - they are still very quiet but we do check them daily.
Enjoy your visit to the site - happy Inkscaping.
Cheers, Syllie
