Hi Folks,
From our statistics we see that this site gets quite a few visitors, we receive nice e-mails and from the comments on our tutorials it seems that what we offer is appreciated. We like that a lot and we hope that this site will continu to grow. We do our best to update the content frequently and offer new tutorials and other resources on almost a daily basis.
We have been a bit quiet for the last few days, but that does not mean we are lazing about. Some of you may have noticed that the menu structure has changed, we made a submenu where we conveniently grouped links to all our resources. What is not visible yet, but hopefully will be added in the next few days is access to our new forums. We want to offer a place to exchange ideas, provide help with applications such as Inkscape, allow requests for tutorials and to start a dialog on what other things we could do. All with the hope to start a like minded community. It will most likely be small and remain small, but it adds an extra dimension and we hope that those that are interested will join and participate.
In the mean time we are working on a few tutorials that were requested/suggested through e-mail and twitter:
- Workflow for creating vector brushes in Inkscape for use in Photoshop and GIMP
- Create stationary in Inkscape using seamless patterns
These tutorials should be available shortly. Please follow us on Twitter to stay updated. I promise it is a low spam channel.
Cheers,
Syllie
